Where 2005’s Sin City has become something of a cult classic, 2014’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For underperformed with fans and critics alike. The franchise will live on, however, as Frank Miller’s comic book series is being adapted for television.

According to Deadline, The Weinstein Company and Dimension are bringing the graphic novels to the small screen with Glen Mazzara of The Walking Dead and Len Wiseman of Underworld onboard.

It’s unknown if the show will utilize the same style that Robert Rodriguez brought to the table, but it will apparently focus on a new cast of characters that weren’t seen in his films. So this sadly means no Mickey Rourke as Marv.
