Luke Evans has revealed that he’d “be a fool to say no” if offered the role of James Bond.
Evans was being interviewed by Yahoo for his latest film, The Girl on the Train, and when asked if he’d be interested in taking on the part of 007, he seemed extremely keen:
“Yeah, I think it’s a great role. What Daniel Craig has done with that role in the however many years he’s been playing it, is incredible.
And it’s probably one of the most attractive roles in a franchise for a male actor of my age right now, so yeah I’d be a fool to say no I don’t want to play it.”

Recently, it was revealed that Sony had offered yet even more money to Craig, hoping he’ll return. But with a decision still to be made, rumors continue to arise as to who will play the iconic agent. James Norton, Aidan Turner, Tom Hiddleston remain the bookies favorites but now maybe you can add Luke Evans to that list.
Who would you like to see as the next 007?
In the meantime, you can see Evans in The Girl on the Train which hits screens on 7th October.
