Jennifer Jason Leigh is up for a part in Annihilation, a new film from Alex Garland of Ex Machina.
According to The Wrap, Leigh would join an all-female ensemble that already includes Natalie Portman, Gina Rodriguez, and Tessa Thompson. She has yet to officially sign on, though.
Leigh most recently received a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her work in The Hateful Eight. Likewise, Alex Garland received his first Oscar nomination for scripting Ex Machina.
