A sequel to Sicario is in the works, but Emily Blunt won’t be returning as FBI agent Kate Macer.

Denis Villeneuve’s 2015 thriller tackled the war against drugs with Blunt’s character at the center of everything. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Blunt isn’t reprising her role in the sequel, which has been titled Soldado. Villeneuve won’t be back either. This isn’t surprising since he’s busy directing Blade Runner 2. Suburra’s Stefano Sollima will be getting behind the camera for the Sicario sequel instead.

Soldado will focus on an alliance between Benicio Del Toro’s Alejandro Gillick and Josh Brolin’s CIA operative Matt Graver. The script has been written by Taylor Sheridan, who also wrote Sicario.

The release date for Soldado has yet to be announced.
