Three’s Company is coming back to knock on our door.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, New Line is looking to secure the film rights to the iconic sitcom. Robert Cort of Runaway Bride will produce the film. Meanwhile, Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein of He’s Just Not That Into You will write the screenplay.

Airing from 1977 to 1984 on ABC, Three’s Company initially starred Joyce DeWitt, Suzanne Somers, and the late John Ritter. This film adaptation will also be set in the 70s when co-ed cohabitation wasn’t exactly common.
