It wasn’t a good festive season for Ben Affleck’s Live By Night according to Variety

Perhaps more so this year that any other before, the festive season at the US box office was immensely saturated with lots of films for audiences to get their fill of cinema. In fact, it could certainly be said that there was too much product – so much in fact that it was inevitable that many would fall by the wayside and be unable to get bums on seats, particularly when the breakout hits were…

Elle Fanning Movie Reviews

  • The Beguiled Review

There’s so much potential in almost every aspect of the film that Sofia Coppola’s The Beguiled feels so disappointing despite being perfectly okay.

Why is it that holly wood can never come up with something new, I guess they think that a 20 to 30 year window is enough for a rewrite and update to crowds who never saw the original. To me this is nothing but LAZY WORK and spin out something that is never better than the original. So how many sequels can Francis spin out of this movie. I refuse to spend 20 to 30 bucks to see a RE-HASH.

  • How to Talk to Girls at Parties Review

Loud, ramshackle and far to eager to impress, punk meets aliens picture How to Talk to Girls at Parties is like every bad gig you’ve ever been to in a small venue in which a band attempts to poorly regurgitate a bunch of cliched ideas and postures.
