Jared Leto teases The Joker’s return

Jared Leto is up to his old tricks again, as he’s posted images teasing a possible return for his Joker character. The Suicide Squad star generally disappointed fans and critics with his portrayal of the iconic villain last year, but that hasn’t stopped the actor from hinting at the character’s comeback.

Leto revealed the images on Snapchat, including a shot showing a tooth encased in one of The Joker’s Gucci boxes:

It’s unconfirmed yet wether Leto will reprise his Suicide Squad role as The Joker in future DC films, although he did once hint at a return:

“I think this film is probably an introduction to this new iteration, this new version of The Joker, but it really depends on the audiences – how they respond to The Joker,” he told Digital Spy.

“This film is about the Suicide Squad and their attempts to successfully complete their mission, and the Joker story is really a parallel one that’s separate from their overarching mission.”

Next up for DC is Justice League which hits screens on November 17.
