Wolverine 3 title revealed?

The title for Wolverine’s third solo outing has reportedly been revealed.

According to Gamezone, “Sources close to the project have revealed that the title of the film will be Weapon X.” And they insist that these sources “are reliable.”

So no official confirmation of the title but a strong rumoured one which could very well turn out to be true.

Early rumours had suggested that the new film would follow the “Old Man Logan” storyline from the comic books. However, if it goes by the title of Weapon X, it’ll surely follow the Wolverine origin story that has already been covered by previous films.

We recently found out that the movie will be R-Rated and therefore “a very radical, bold, different Wolverine than you’ve ever seen in any of the movies.” according to producer Simon Kinberg.

We also know which villains Hugh Jackman’s character will face, which could tie in with the Weapon X origin story. But whichever title it goes by, it hits screens on March 3, 2017.
