Honest Trailer proves Alien: Covenant is part of the bad side of the series

There has been a few success through the summer months, whether it was Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, Wonder Woman or Dunkirk, but there have been a fair few disappointments as well and perhaps none more so than Ridley Scott’s, Alien: Covenant.
Mixed reviews coupled with a lacklustre box office ($232million worldwide with only $74million grossed in the US) led to the film being labelled one of the biggest let-downs of the year. Everything seemed to be going for the film, which was more of a “proper” Alien film than its predecessor, Prometheus, but even the promise of xenomorphs couldn’t make up for the flute playing, stupidity of the characters and lack of real scares.

So the film was ripe for picking and Screen Junkies have done just that with their latest Honest Trailer which tears the film a xenomorph-sized hole and then some. Here’s the trailer:
Alien: Covenant makes its way to Blu-ray, 4K and DVD in the UK on September 18th.
