The awards season is in full swing in Hollywood and last night saw the 74th Golden Globes took take place in Los Angeles. Hosted by Jimmy Fallon (who started proceedings with an excellent La La Land-esque opening), the night was won, as many had predicted, by Damien Chazelle’s La La Land which went home with seven awards including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress (comedy/musical for those three) and Best Screenplay.

Joss Whedon, director of the fast-approaching Avengers: Age of Ultron, was speaking at a press conference in London earlier today about his future role in the Marvel universe. Upon being asked how he sees his life after leaving the director’s chair on Avengers: Infinity War, he answered, ‘I don’t think I’ll ever get that far away from it. I plan a rest – a longer rest – perhaps an eternal rest. I have no immediate plans.’
