Mark Hamill may have just unintentionally confirmed Luke Skywalker’s appearance in Star Wars: Episode IX.
Hamill tweeted a video of himself having his Skywalker beard shaved off, with the caption: ‘#ByeByeBeard (at least til #EpisodeIX)’. Check it out below:

While this can’t be taken as confirmation, Hamill’s tweet has certainly got fans excited about seeing more of Hamill in years to come.
The next film in the Star Wars saga (not including Rogue One) is the upcoming Episode VIII which finished shooting back in July.
And we can see Star Wars: Episode VIII when it arrives on December 15, 2017, followed by Episode IX on May 24, 2019.
