Actor Donal Sutherland is set to get an Honorary Oscar.

While modern audiences will recognize him best for playing President Snow in The Hunger Games, this 82-year-old has been turning in phenomenal performances for over fifty years. His screen credits include classics such as M*A*S*H, Ordinary People, and Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Yet, he’s never even been nominated for one Oscar. Talk about overdue.

In addition to Sutherland, the Academy will also be recognizing director Charles Burnett, cinematographer Owen Roizman, and director Agnès Varda at the Governors Awards on November 11, 2017.

Flickreel has recently composed several features on actors, actresses, and directors that are overdue for Honorary Oscars. While none of the names above quite made our lists, they’re all more than deserving of this coveted award.
