Jamie Bell May Take Over For Daniel Craig as James Bond

Although there’s still a possibility Daniel Craig will return as James Bond, it’s becoming less and less likely.

Craig has signed up for Steven Soderbergh’s new heist film, Logan Lucky. This seems to indicate that the actor is leaving 007 behind and moving on to other things.

On top of that, Deadline reports that producer Barbara Broccoli has met with actor Jamie Bell to discuss James Bond. Bell initially broke into stardom playing the titular character in 2000’s Billy Elliot. His recent screen credits include The Adventures of Tintin and Fantastic Four. Ironically, Bell also played Craig’s brother in Defiance. Broccoli and Bell are currently collaborating together on Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool.

What do you think? Should Bell take over as James Bond or should Craig just accept that £68m to return? Or maybe the studio should follow-up with Gillian Anderson about becoming the first female James Bond.
