Despite having an R rating, Deadpool has quickly become the biggest X-Men movie ever at the domestic box office. Given the blockbuster’s success, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that 20th Century Fox might let Wolverine 3 get away with an R rating too. Even before Deadpool hit it big, though, there was already discussion of making a hard R Wolverine picture.

The Hollywood Reporter reminded us of a certain teaser image released at last year’s Comic-Con in which Wolverine extends a middle finger…or a middle claw in his case.

Considering the profane image above, it’s clear the filmmakers have been fighting for an R rating. It’s also been said that Michael Green’s script is full foul language and graphic violence. Even if Wolverine 3 ends up with an PG-13 rating, though, we could still potentially get one badass scene list this:

The untitled third Wolverine film is currently set to come out on March 3, 2017.
