Zachary Levi starred as Fandral in both Thor: The Dark World and Ragnarok. The actor will be making the leap from Marvel to DC, as he was just cast as Shazam.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Levi will be playing the adult version of young Billy Batson, who can turn into a superhero may saying a certain magic word.

Levi is also known for his roles in Tangled and Chuck. Shazam! is currently set for a April 5, 2019 release with David F. Sandberg of Annabelle: Creation being rumored to direct.
