Adam Sandler had one of the biggest financial and critical duds of his career in 2015 with Pixels. The Ridiculous 6 hasn’t done much better with critics, currently holding an abysmal 0% positive on Rotten Tomatoes. However, it would appear the film has been a success with audiences. According to The Verge, the comedy has now become the most-watched film on Netflix ever.

The Ridiculous Six, by way of example, in the first 30 days on Netflix it’s been the most-watched movie in the history of Netflix,” said Ted Sarandos, the company’s chief content officer. “It’s also enjoyed a spot at No. 1 in every territory we operate in, and in many of them it’s still No. 1.”

Seeing how Sandler’s live-action theatrical films haven’t been performing that well at the box office, perhaps Netflix is the right home for the comedian. Of course your time and subscription would probably be better utilized streaming Making a Murderer.
