A new promotional image of the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia in Star Wars: The Last Jedi has leaked online. The photo has found its way on the web, following a huge leak of promo pictures from the film last week, which included Snoke, Rey, Luke and Finn.
This latest image shows Leia in her full outfit, as she’s sadly set to make her final appearance in the Star Wars universe. See the still below via Making Star Wars:

Many have wondered how Lucasfilm will handle the future of her character. The studio’s President Kathleen Kennedy recently revealed that Leia will not feature in The Last Jedi‘s follow-up film, however it’s also been reported that they are still keeping their options open, but will not take the CGI route. Episode IX director Colin Trevorrow has said the film will treat her untimely death with “love and respect”. While John Boyega recently stated that Episode 8 “sends her off in a very amazing way.”
Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrives on December 15.
