Dwayne Johnson is currently set to star in a film adaptation of the classic arcade game, Rampage. According to Variety, Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal have been hired to rewrite the upcoming film’s script.

Aside from creating Colony together, both of these writers have worked with Johnson before. Cuse previously wrote the screenplay for San Andreas while Condal penned 2014’s Hercules. Brad Peyton of San Andreas is likely to direct the project with Brad Peyton producing.

It’s currently unknown what the plot for Rampage will be. Considering that the 1986 game centered on three monsters terrorizing cities, though, we suspect that the story won’t be the film’s highlight.
