Rick Famuyiwa of Dope has signed on as the new director for The Flash.

One of last year’s dopest movies!

Deadline reports that Famuyiwa will replace Seth Grahame-Smith, who left the superhero movie after Warner Bros. decided a more experienced director was required. Grahame-Smith also wrote the film’s screenplay, which was based on a treatment by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller of The Lego Movie.

The Flash is currently set to hit theaters on March 18, 2018 with Ezra Miller as the titular speedster.
