Lynda Carter comments on Wonder Woman/James Cameron debate

Although many have praised 2017’s Wonder Woman as empowering, progressive, and even important, James Cameron hasn’t been one of them.

The Oscar-winning director previously described the blockbuster as a “step backwards.” This resulted in a backlash from the director of Wonder Woman, Patty Jenkins. Now Lynda Carter, who played the Amazon princess in the 70s TV series, has fired back at Cameron.

Taking to Facebook, Carter described Cameron as a “poor soul” and told him to “STOP IT.”

Perhaps Cameron will have a change of heart by the time Wonder Woman 2 hits theaters on December 13, 2019.
