FOX have announced a pilot for a one-hour drama series of 1973’s The Exorcist.
According to The Wrap, this new series will serve as a “reinvention” of William Peter Blatty’s 1971 novel and tell the story of two men who work to resolve a demonic possession. Jeremy Slater will write the pilot and serve as producer alongside David Robinson, James Robinson and Barbara Wall.
A date is yet to be announced for when the pilot will go ahead and just recently Morgan Creek Films also expressed interest in remaking the horror classic.
