Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley Cast in The Lost Wife

Star Wars: Episode VIII isn’t the only project Daisy Ridley has in the works. The actress has been cast as the leading lady in The Lost Wife.

According to Variety, this love story will be a period drama based on Alyson Richman’s novel. Set in pre-war Prague, the film follows an art student and her best friend’s older brother as the Nazis invade. Marc Klein wrote the script while producers Robbie Brenner, Michelle Chydzik and Jeff Waxman are currently looking for a director.

In addition to Star Wars: Episode VIII and now The Lost Wife, Ridley is also reuniting with The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams for the fantasy thriller, Kolma. If you can’t wait to see more of Ridley, be sure to check out her martial arts skills here.
