Even loyal Trekkers will be compelled to see The Force Awakens now. Paramount reports that the trailer for Star Trek Beyond will premiere with the new Star Wars.

J.J. Abrams of course directed 2009’s Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness, although he chose not to direct this third film so he could helm The Force Awakens. However, his production company Bad Robot still produced Star Trek Beyond.

Star Trek Beyond will hit theaters on July 22, 2016 while Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens on December 18th.
