UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, who previously appeared in Entourage, Furious 7, and The Expendables 3, has been cast in the Road House remake according to Variety. Rousey will be taking over the leading role Patrick Swayze made famous in the original 1989 action flick. In this version, Rousey will play a bouncer who must clean up a boisterous Missouri bar. Before signing on, the mixed martial artist contacted Swayze’s widow, Lisa Niemi, who gave Rousey her blessing to play the part.
