Rambo: New Blood, a TV series based on the action hero made famous by Sylvester Stallone, has been picked up by Fox. Deadline reports that Stallone will executive produce the project, although it’s unclear if he will star.

The plot will center on John Rambo and his “complex relationship” with his son, an ex-Navy SEAL named J.R. In addition to Rambo, a show based on Stallone’s The Expendables is also in development. Stallone can currently be seen in Creed, in which he reprises his iconic role as Rocky Balboa.
