The popular new Star Wars character made his debut in The Force Awakens where he was portrayed by Oscar Isaac. This comic series will delve deeper into Poe’s character and introduce new villains for him to confront. Scene-stealing droid BB-8 is also sure be by our hero’s side.

“It’s silly not to explore the idea of a guy who grew up steeped in the Rebellion and the older Republic and all of those myths and legends,” said Soule. “If you think about it, he grew up the way we did, hearing all of these stories.”

We look forward to seeing more of Poe, both in the comic and of course in the movies.
