    The Revenant has received 12 Oscar nominations and made $7.8 million (around £ 5.4 million) in the UK, ending Star Wars’ four week reign at number one.

    The Leonardo DiCaprio starring film is also performing well in the US, raking in $87.7 million in box office takings since its release.
