New Daredevil poster reveals Punisher and Elektra costumes

With season 2 of Daredevil upon us, Netflix have been ramping up the marketing, and the latest drip of new info we’ve been bestowed with gives us our first proper look at the main characters in proper comic-book costume. Here’s the new poster for Daredevil:

While we’re already familiar with Daredevil’s costume (which he attained right at the end of the first season), this is our first look at the ‘proper’ costume of both John Bernthal’s Frank Castle – AKA the Punisher – and Elodie Yung’s Elektra Natchios – AKA, erm, Elektra. While Elektra’s get-up is pretty badass with its ninja stylings, Punisher’s looks like it’s pulled straight from the comics. It’s a good indication that Bernthal’s Frank Castle really will be the true star of season 2 – which is released on Netflix on March 18.
