Michael B. Jordan of Creed and Fruitvale Station is set to star in a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair. According to The Hollywood Reporter, MGM had yet to sign a director on for the project.

The original 1968 heist film starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. It was remade in 1999 with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.

With the next James Bond movie currently up in the air, this just might be the thriller MGM needs to hold audiences over.
