The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Kingsman 2, the sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service will begin shooting in April 2016.
Taron Egerton, who played Eggsy in the first film, was signed on to shoot Robin Hood: Origins in February, but Kingsman writer-director Matthew Vaughn wants Egerton to revise his role in The Secret Service sequel. Egerton will still star in Robin Hood with the production shifting to when Kingsman 2 finishes shooting.
Fox have been working on a Kingsman sequel for a while now and we can only hope that Colin Firth will return to play the popular secret agent.
