According to previous reports, George Miller claimed that he would never make another Mad Max movie. Miller has now set the record straight, however, saying that he isn’t done with the franchise yet.

Miller informed TheWrap that he was misquoted in a “completely garbled interview” where the reporter “got the wrong fragments of information that were just not true.”

Miller clarified, “I said no, [another Mad Max movie] will not be next, and she took that to mean I never wanted to make another Mad Max. It won’t necessarily be next, but I have two more stories.”

George Miller received a Best Director Oscar nomination today for Mad Max: Fury Road, which also received a Best Picture nomination. Good to know that Miller plans to get back behind the wheel.
