After the success of Marvel’s Deadpool, unsurprisingly, a sequel was announced for the bad-mouthed superhero. And now details of the follow-up film have been revealed, and it’s safe to say that it’s not quite what you would have expected. Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox have agreed a deal to bring the two franchises of Deadpool and Fifty Shades of Grey together.
The crossover, titled 50 Shades of Red, will star Ryan Reynolds in the leading role, with Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, aka. Christian Grey, also onboard.
The story will see Deadpool take on Christian Grey as the villain, so expect to see fierce battles with whips, chains and all kinds of kinky weaponry being used. Johnson returns as Anastasia Steele who sparks the war after she gets caught in bed with Reynold’s character.
50 Shades of Red is now just awaiting its director before it begins production.
