Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed that a 6th Terminator film is on the cards and he’ll be back for it.
When asked about the possibility of a sixth film, Schwarzenegger told Australia’s Channel 9: “I am looking forward to it,” he said. “Yeah, absolutely.”
The future of the Terminator franchise did look in doubt when in January, Paramount pulled the planned sequel from its schedule after Terminator: Genisys had a disappointing return at the box office.
But it’s looking good now for Schwarzenegger returning to his most iconic role and another film that he looks set to return for is Shane Black’s The Predator, which is due for a 2018 release.
