Warning: The following contains spoilers to a post-credits scene in Ant-Man.

Deep down, we all know Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne was the most qualified candidate to usurp the Ant-Man suit. Hope was promised a chance to carry on another superhero legacy at the end of Ant-Man, however, when her father revealed the new Wasp suit. Now that Marvel is moving forward with Phase 3, they’ve officially announced the release of Ant-Man and The Wasp for July 6, 2018.

The Wasp will be the first Marvel heroine to have her name in a movie’s title. BTW, we’re still waiting for that Black Widow movie!

If you can’t wait until 2018 to see more of Ant-Man, Paul Rudd will fortunately be reprising the role in Captain America: Civil War, which comes out on May 6, 2016.

In addition to Ant-Man and The Wasp, IGN reports that Marvel has announced three untitled films for May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020, and November 6, 2020. Fingers crossed that one of them is a new Howard the Duck movie.
