Previously, if you wanted to stream movies and TV shows on Amazon Video in the United States, you needed to be part of Amazon Prime. Fortunately, that’s no longer the case.

Variety reports that Amazon is now offering a standalone Prime Video service, which will cost $8.99 per month. That’s a whole dollar less than what Netflix is changing!

Amazon has also announced a monthly plan that will feature Prime video and shipping for $10.99. Of course you can still stick with the yearly plan for $99.

Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to stream the fist three seasons of The Americans.
