After an incredible few years for upcoming indie production company A24, horror/thriller It Comes At Night is one of their exciting releases this year. After picking Best Picture last year for Moonlight and two spirit awards for The Witch. Every A24 picture is closely watched, so far It Comes At Night has already sparked critical buzz before it’s wide release.
Directed and Written by Trey Edwards Shults, It Comes At Night stars Joel Edgerton (Loving, The Great Gatsby), Kelvin Harrisson Jr. (Birth Of A Nation) and Riley Keough (Mad Max: Fury Road). The official synopsis reads below:
“Secure within a desolate home as an unnatural threat terrorises the world, a man has established a tenuous domestic order with his wife and son, but this will soon be put to test when a desperate young family arrives seeking refuge.”
It Comes At Night is set for release 9th June in the USA.
