Val Kilmer has defended himself after being accused of posting “creepy” and “obsessive” tweets about Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett.

Kilmer, best known for playing Bruce Wayne in 1995’s Batman Forever,  has recently been sharing his admiration for Blanchett on Twitter. Blanchett is yet to comment on the matter. You can currently see Kilmer in Terrence Malick’s Song to Song, out now in theaters.
