Comic book icon Stan Lee, is making his first Bollywood superhero film.
According to Variety, Stan Lee will adapt his Indian superhero, Chakra the Invincible, for a live-action Bollywood production.
“I am really excited about launching ‘Chakra the Invincible’ as my first Bollywood superhero movie,” said Lee.
Chakra is described as “a teenage Mumbai tech genius who dons a suit that supercharges the seven centres of spiritual power in his body”.
However, Lee will only co-write the film with Vikramaditya Motwane on board to direct.
“Vikramaditya is an amazingly talented filmmaker who I have no doubt can make the Chakra film a massive hit in India and around the world. I only hope he remembers to include my cameo.” Lee said.
Expect cast announcements and a release date soon.
