At Comic-Con, Legendary Pictures have announced plans to produce a Skull Island movie featuring King Kong and the other mutant creatures which inhabit the island. Godzilla writer Max Bornstein will take on scripting duties, with Deadline reporting that Joe Cornish (Attack the Block) has been approached to direct. A release date has been set for the 4th of November, 2016.
