According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ron Perlman has joined the cast of J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

We know he can play a beast pretty darn fantastically thanks to the Hellboy movies, but now Perlman is rumoured to play a goblin in the Harry Potter spin-off.

The cast already includes Colin Farrell as a wizard named Graves; Katherine Waterston as Tina; Alison Sudol as Tina’s sister, Queenie; Dan Fogler as Jacob; Ezra Miller as Credence; Samantha Morton as Mary Lou; Jenn Murray as Chastity; and young newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove as Modesty. Jon Voight, Gemma Chan and Carmen Ejogo recently signed up for as-yet-unknown parts.

Set 70 years prior to the events of the Harry Potter saga, the first entry in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trilogy will be directed by David Yates and scripted by Rowling herself with a November 2016 release.
