The DC Extended Universe may be set to add another oscar winner to its cast as The Wrap reports that Nicole Kidman is in the middle of negotiations to take on a role in Wonder Woman.
Reports speculate that she’ll be playing a high-ranking Amazonian warrior, and that she could be looking at the role of Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, and the heroine’s biological mother.
Gal Gadot has already been confirmed to play Princess Diana aka Wonder Woman while Patty Jenkins is in the director’s chair for this one. We’ll also see Chris Pine play Steve Trevor, the human who wins Diana’s heart.
Wonder Woman is set for a release in June 2017.
