Michael Bay reveals Bumblebee’s new look in Transformers: The Last Knight

Say what you will about the Transformers franchise, but you can’t say that Michael Bay doesn’t have passion. He seems to love his hardware almost as much as James Cameron, and that shows in a new design for one of the titular robots, Bumblebee, who’s been a mute star of the franchise since the beginning as is returning for the latest instalment, Transformers: The Last Knight. Bay took to Twitter to reveal the new design:

Okay, so it may play as more of an advert for General Motors – but it’s nice to see Bumblebee get a subtle makeover. Transformers: The Last Knight sees the return of Mark Wahlberg, along with the recently-announced Anthony Hopkins, and is set to be released on June 23 next year.
