Today is the day that the much-anticipated Captain America: Civil War hits cinemas (well, in the UK at least – the US will have to wait another week to see it). But that hasn’t stopped nerd-at-large film director Kevin Smith seeing it, and consequently raving about it in a tweet:
Watched @CaptainAmerica #CivilWar in amazing @4DX_USA theater! Easily the greatest comic book movie ever made! Best Spidey flick too! LOVED!

Note that he also praises Spider-Man; Tom Holland’s performance as the web-slinger has already been touted as the definitive big-screen version of the superhero, and to get Kevin Smiths’ approval – after all, he really does know his comics and franchises – can only be a huge positive.
