The internet has decided that IT’s Pennywise the clown now has a boyfriend and they even have an official couple’s name. According to social media, Pennywise is dating fellow horror beast, the Babadook.
The Babadook is the titular monster in the 2014 Australian horror film, and it became an unlikely tongue in-cheek gay icon when Netflix mistakenly categorised the movie in the LGBT section of its site.
Now the adopted gay character has been given a boyfriend in the form of Stephen King’s creepy clown, and Twitter has even declared “Pennydook” as their “powercouple name”:
