Guy Ritchie’s gangster film Snatch is getting a TV spin-off.
Variety reports that Sony’s Crackle are producing a 10-episode series based on the 2000 film.
The original starred Brad Pitt, Jason Statham, and Benicio Del Toro and the new show will aim to keep the essence of the film. Following new characters wading into the dangerous world of organised crime as a group of up-and-coming hustlers stumble upon a truckload of stolen gold bullion.
The boys must quickly learn to navigate London’s underworld as rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains descend.
Directors and casting is yet to be announced.
