As the rumour mill hits overdrive in the build up to any official confirmation as to who has been cast in the forthcoming Star Wars: Episode VII, renowned British actor Gary Oldman confirmed to Sky Movies that he has been in talks for a role. Despite not specifying exactly which part he may play, Oldman teased fans by merely claiming that discussions have taken place and that “they’ve called”. Having appeared in franchises such as Batman and Harry Potter, it seems that perhaps Star Wars may be next to cross off the list.
