Legendary actor Don Rickles dies aged 90

Hollywood comedy legend Don Rickles has passed away at the age of 90. Appearing across radio, television, film and stage, Rickles was perhaps best known to modern audiences as the voice of Mr. Potato Head in all three Toy Story films.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the actor died in Los Angeles due to kidney failure. He is survived by his wife Barbara Sklar, with the two married for over 50 years, as well as by his daughter, Mindy, his son in law, Ed, and grandchildren Ethan and Harrison.

As well as the Toy Story films, Rickles also starred in Kelly’s Heroes, Keaton’s Cop, The Monkey Jungle and co-starred in Martin Scorsese’s Casino in 1995. His final film appearance was in 1998’s Dennis The Menace Strikes Again.
