Daisy Ridley ‘absolutely’ wants to play Lara Croft

Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley has been rumoured for the role of Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider reboot. And she’s now confirmed that she would jump at the chance to take on the part.
Ridley told The Hollywood Reporter: “There have been conversations. I’m waiting for someone to say, ‘I want you, let’s do it’.”
Her schedule is a busy one however as she’s currently filming Star Wars Episode 8, but she has said that she would find the time if given the opportunity.
“Absolutely, I’m trying to fill up my calendar,” she added.
John Boyega, her Star Wars co-star is fully in support of Ridley taking on the role:
“I texted Daisy [and] was like, ‘this is you!’ and ‘you need to get on that because you could be Lara Croft’,” he said. “She should be.
Surely Ridley will get the offer now and we’ll be sure to keep you informed of any updates.
