Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice defied critics this past weekend at the box office making approximately $420.1 million globally and therefore becoming the biggest Easter weekend movie in history. But as good as that sounds, a new report indicates that the film has also broken another more unfortunate record.

According to Forbes, the film has set a new record for the biggest Friday-to-Sunday box-office drop for a modern superhero movie. It went down 55% from its $82 million Friday debut to its $37 million gross on Sunday which is a faster decline than the Fantastic Four reboot.

Forbes suggests that Batman v Superman will most likely continue to see a decline at the box office and will be someway off its estimated target.
