Batman v Superman passes $800m worldwide

Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has passed $800 million worldwide. The domestic box office stands at $301.2 million, with the international box office at $500.5 million, for a global total of $801.7 million.

It will be interesting to see where this film ends up – likely just short of the $1 billion mark which Warner Bros. was presumably aiming for as a minimum. This weekend will be an important one for the super-sized, superhero flick, if it’s going to have any hope of reaching that milestone. But with Captain America: Civil War still a few weeks off, at least it has a window of opportunity.
